Live2D exhibits digital media art “Living Paintings Project – 001: I'm Watching You” at SXSW2017

Live2D, Inc. is an interactive digital media that uses our original technology Live2D at the world's largest creative content and business event “South by Southwest (SXSW)” in Austin, Texas, USA Art “Living Paintings Project – 001: I'm Watching You” (Creative Farm: THE GUILD Takayuki Fukatsu, Toruya Okuda) will be exhibited from March 12th to March 15th (local time) .

The digital media art “Living Paintings Project – 001: I'm Watching You” created by THE GUILD's Takayuki Fukatsu and Toruya Okuda using Live2D technology was a character drawn for the recruitment poster in the US in the 1910s This is an experience / experience-based content that can interact with Uncle Sam through technology. Uncle Sam displayed on digital signage as it is a famous poster painting reacts in response to user behavior. By responding with the latest technologies such as Live2D and sensors, the painting provides viewers with a completely new painting appreciation experience that they are “not seeing but seeing”.

Live2D will continue to promote the use of Live2D technology in the fields of art and digital signage through the support of THE GUILD's Living Paintings Project.
